Points to remember :

  • InstaVR supports mono and stereo 360 videos. video needs to be uploaded in the equirectangular panorama format, which is a widely used format supported by many capture devices/solutions
    1. 360° Mono Spherical Panorama – uses a single pano
    2. 360° Stereo Spherical Panorama – uses two stacked panos
  • Mono videos should be 2:1 aspect ratio (e.g. 4096 X 2048).
  • Stereo videos should be 1:1 aspect ratio (e.g. 4096 X 4096).
  • Some older devices are not able decode videos larger than 1080p (1920×1080). Hence, we recommend that users provide both a monoscopic 1920×1080 video and a stereo video at 2048×2048 or higher.
